CONGRATULATIONS PAULA (non-blogger)!!

It's Day 2 of "Green Week" here at Did You See That? and today I've got a fun way to involve your kids in living "green" (and a giveaway!).
You may recall these two posts I did previously on the Eco-friendly company Xeko (introduction to the card game here and a second post introducing their Xeko Pal stuffed animal line).
Well now they've expanded their Xeko Pal line with two new plush animals! And like the Xeko Pals: Giant Panda I previously reviewed, the new plush animals (based on the most popular characters from the Xeko eco-adventure game) feature “mission codes” that allow kids to join the fun at xeko.com, where "the Xeko adventure comes to life on the web."
I was mailed both toys to take a look at. And let me tell you, I was lucky to get a peek before my kids took off with them. I can tell you these plush toys are very soft and very realistic in appearance. My son claimed the flying squirrel and my daughter the lemur - they both took them in for show and tell that very day and have slept with them every night since. And I love that they are made with soy and certified organic cotton “fur” and filled with soy-based stuffing (instead of the usual polyester). What a great way to introduce your kids to the some of our most endangered animals on Earth! If you have kids who like stuffed / plush animals at all, these are really a must have toy.

The Xeko game features remarkable plant and animal species from Earth's biodiversity hotspots first identified by Norman Myers and recognized by Conservation International. Currently numbered at 34, the hotspots contain 75 percent of the planet's most threatened mammals, birds and amphibians while covering just 2.3 percent of the Earth's surface. An estimated 50 percent of all vascular plants and 42 percent of land vertebrates exist only in these hotspots. Preserving our planet's biodiversity is Xeko Mission: Critical.
