Name Your Tune

THIS GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED.
CONGRATULATIONS
MARIANA!

From the company: Name Your Tune is an exciting children's music compilation that is made-to-order and personalized for each child. Children will hear their name more than 80 times throughout 14 much-loved songs, such as Old MacDonald Had A Farm (which becomes Little Kate Had A Farm,) Wheels on the Bus and If You're Happy and You Know It (becomes If You're Shannon And You Know It.) The CD is a great way to enjoy music, have fun, and learn together!

We include a line above and below the name on the CD, making it an even special personalized item:

The message on the label might read something like this:
Special Songs For You
Hannah
Love Mommy and Daddy

Name Your Tune CDs are $20.00 each, or $18.00 each when you purchase 2 or more at the same time. We can incorporate multiple names on a Name Your Tune CD...with pleasure. There is no extra cost to have more than one name included throughout our songs. To do this, we alternate songs between the names. When you place your order, simply put the names in the space indicated.

Name Your Tune features dynamic performances by Lenny Graf (Parent Choice Award winning and Juno nominated children's performer), Paul Humphrey, Barbara Vermeullen, and Tracey Erin Smith.

The faces of babies, toddlers, preschoolers and parents light up when they hear their name in their favourite songs! Children feel a sense pride and self-esteem as every song is about them. CFRB's Dr. Mickey Lester says, "Name Your Tune stimulates children and encourages language development."

Proudly Made in Canada. A portion from the sale of each CD will be donated to Hear Here, the Toronto-based non-profit organization that provides hearing aids for children. For more information, please visit www.uhac.net.

My take: My kiddos don't listen to a lot of music in the car - they prefer movies. I'd prefer to get away from the movies and get them singing and dancing (both in the car and at home) - they already sing along with movie music so I knew it was just a matter of finding music CDs that would engage their attention. I already know they like Elvis (they call "Burning Love" - "Dad's song") but what else? Let me tell you, Name Your Tune fits the bill! They were both thrilled to hear their names throughout this CD (the songs alternate with one child's name in the first song, the second child's name in the second, and so forth). They laugh uproariously when they hear their name (even arguing over who gets to laugh - ah, siblings, what can you do?) And the songs are all familiar ones so they sing along too. We've listened to this over and over and they don't even think to ask about putting a movie on, they are having so much fun. And as someone who wears hearing aids herself (and a member of the Lions Club which helps provide glasses and hearing aids to people who cannot afford them), I was excited to see that a portion of all the Name Your Tune CDs sales go to help provide hearing aids to children. Win-win! I'm thinking "what a great stocking stuffer or Chanukkah gift Name Your Tune will make for YOUR kids!"
