Welcome to Circle of Friends, where the products are "Tested by parents, not on animals!"What is Circle of Friends? A line of hair and bath products for children. Products that are specially formulated for kids and come in packages that feature multicultural characters from around the world (with stories and lessons about their home country). Your kids can even log onto their website for more fun things to do like coloring pages, puzzles and read more stories about these characters.
We received quite a few products to test out. By far, the sponge was my kids' favorite product - my son even made up a simple song ("I love my sponge, ya, ya, ya" ) that he and his sister sang over, and over (and over and over). For once, it was not a struggle to get them to soap up - they actually fought over who would get the sponge! The (tub toy) pirate ship my son NEVER wants to share with his sister? He OFFERED it to her in exchange for the sponge. Not that she fell for the dastardly trick!
Susie's Root Beer Sudsy Sponge (Soap-Infused Bath Sponge): "Howdy, my name is Susie and I live in Texas, USA..." - this has a pleasant root beer scent that really is not overpowering at all.

We also tried the Buenas Noches Bubble Bath: "Hola! My name is Maria. I live in a country known for the ancient civilizations of the Aztecs..." - these bubbles stayed the entire time they were in the bath - they didn't fade away the way some brands do.

the Ana Banana Shampoo: "Buenos Dias! My name is Ana. I live with my parents, three brothers and grandfather in the second smallest country in Central America..." - I didn't expect to like this one as I'm not a fan of bananas but I was pleasantly surprised how nice it made my kids' hair smell - for the entire 24 hours between baths!
and the Little Docs product line.
Little Docs is their product line that is "specially formulated for infants, children and adults with Eczema and Sensitive Skin." Sign us up! My children both suffer from eczema and I have extremely sensitive skin. Little Docs is made without fragrances, dyes, or other common allergens. They have been "dermatologist-tested, allergy-tested, clinically-tested" and are "free of Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulfates, synthetic fragrances, dyes, propylene glycol, alcohol, soy, nut oils, gluten, oat and dairy that can cause an allergic reaction."
O.k., so what does all that mean? It means these products are safe AND effective. And they smell great too; the shampoo had a pleasant citrus smell.
On the Soothing Shampoo & Body Wash: "Hello! My name is Elizabeth Blackwell. I was the first woman ever to graduate from medical school in the United States..."
On the Cooling Spray Lotion: "Hi, my name is Li-Shih-Chen and I grew up in China during the Mind Dynasty...I became my country's greatest naturalist"
The last two products we tried (which we also loved) were:
Yodel-ay-he Lotion (smooth and not greasy at all)
I highly recommend these products and think they will make great stocking stuffers for my own kids.
